• A client is one of the leading healthcare providers in the USA.

Business Requirements

• The client wanted doctors and users to record the menstrual cycle after the use of contraceptive implants to keep a check on health conditions
• Usually, such records were stored manually by the users
• As one of the side effects of the implant, the menstrual cycle may become irregular, lighter, heavier or longer
• This made it difficult to track changes in the bleeding patterns after the implant
• It was mandatory for the doctors, the client and the users to monitor the changes to help avoid any complications
• The client conceived the idea of a mobile application which would act as an easy-to-maintain menstrual diary which could be accessed periodically by everyone to monitor the bleeding patterns
