Do Blur belong in our band reunions list? The Britpop pioneers have been on/off ever since the turn of the century when band members began pursuing their individual projects as diverse as composing operas, writing noisy alt-rock tunes, standing for locals elections and producing award-winning … cheese! Blur returned with fresh material in 2015 in form of the well-received The Magic Whip album – their first since 2003’s Think Tank – and a string of live appearances across the globe. Their London homecoming summer shows at Hyde Park have become something of a must-attend for fans. Come summer, come Blur! Least we hope so.
