Koh Phangan activities and Day Tours – why Koh Phangan deserves your visit

Koh Phangan is such a magical place brimming with jungle treks, elephant rides, snorkelling and wildlife tours. Embedded within them is the magical history of the island.

1

Paintballing on Koh Phangan

Awaken the child in you with paintballing on Koh Phangan. If you are travelling as a family, paintballing is one of the best outdoor activities to engage yourself in. Of course paintballing is available for individuals as well.

2

Archery on Koh Phangan

Have you seen a Robin Hood within you? Why not try out with archery in Koh Phangan? For 150 baht, you can play with bow and the arrow for 15 minutes. The more you are ready to pay, the more time you will get. If you can manage to get the membership, prices will be half the rate. The place is easy to locate, if you get to Chaloklum Bay. But there are limitations too. Only eight archers can practise at the same time. And the reward is that there is a restaurant close by for a good refreshment.

3

Fishing

Any island resort in Koh Phangan can arrange a fishing trip for you. It is much easier if you stay at a Koh Phangan Resort and Spa such as Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas. You can have a first class experience with first class rods and other fishing equipment. With this type of equipment you can easily go for barracudas and hunting mackerel.
If your passion lies more on riding a fishing boat, reach Chaloklum Pier. The boats here will keep you occupied for a day.

4

Hiking on Koh Phangan

It may just be the best way to explore Koh Phangan. Hiking is no such big deal in Koh Phangan. Just set off during the wee hours. The hiking path between Haad Rin and Haad Tien will reveal a good number of exotic wonders of Koh Phangan. Most travellers love being here for the Full Moon Party. The path takes on a party mood on full moon days.

If you are thinking about other ways to enjoy hiking, try the island at Khao Ra. It offers you the challenge to reach its peak. And that comes with a reward: you get to view Ang Thong Marine Park and Koh Tao from a high angle. Or, rather, choose Than Sadet-Ko-Pha-Ngan National park by Haad Sadet beach. They also offer you a marvellous experience of the island's hugest waterfall.
