I have always suspected that the Oracle of Omaha is actually a dividend investor, because he has often invested in businesses which generate more cash than necessary for their operations. As a result, most of these businesses send this excess cash to shareholders in the form of a dividend or share buybacks.

An important task of high-frequency trading is to successfully capture the dynamics in the Data. Empirical Data on Indian Exchanges show that 95% of all NEW orders are placed within 5 ticks of best-bid and best-ask. Examining Factor Performance Against Weakness

China has dominated market headlines early in the new year, with weakness in the Chinese yuan – also known as the renminbi – unnervering investors and leading to a sharp sell-off in US equities. The Chinese economy can often be difficult to gauge, and the country’s stock market is inherently unstable. Economic news is generally opaque and the Chinese government actively intervenes in the markets – making investing in China often feel like a roll of the dice.

Dependence Of US Treasuries On HFT Is A Cause Of Concern

HFT or high frequency trading relies on algorithms to effect transactions and can process thousands of orders in a second. This increases speed and efficiency. In fact, as argued by many dealers, the success of future stock market dealers depends heavily on their use of algorithm based techniques such as high frequency trading. With its use of superior technology and its growing popularity and use, it has come to represent a situation where machine codes are controlling trade rather than the human interrelationships.

Highly Sophisticated Mathematical Algorithms

Algo based transactions involve the usage of highly sophisticated mathematical algorithms which can process thousands of orders in a second. This reduces trade time and increases efficiency. But if any wrong algorithm or program gets processed either deliberately or by mistake, it can cause price distortions which can be a disaster to the sensitive trading market. HFT or high frequency trading is also a part of algo trading.
