Top Ten Reasons Lisa is Super Lucky that I'm her Daughter

Because of all the outfits I never let her wear. (note: this is also a reason that all of YOU are lucky that I am here.)

Because she will always have a living, visual reminder of what she looked like 20 years ago.

Because I explain slang phrases to her and don't let her accidentally use sexual innuendos that she doesn't understand.

Because I became an esthetician and hook her up to all sorts of pretty-ifying products and treatments. (not that she needs them.)

Because I remind her to live every moment as though it was her last--we BEAT the ambulance, didn't we?! Everybody's okay. Except for the person who was IN the ambulance...

Because when people mistake me for her (allllllll the time) I always say: "Thanks, that means a lot!"

Because I was gullible enough as a child for her to talk me into going on stage for a talent show in bloomers to sing "Dress Me, Dress Me, Dress, Me" from the movie The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, and I can only imagine that this was the most adorable thing that has ever happened ever. (If you don't know the song, please Google it now. You won't be disappointed.)

Because I will usually take her side when she and Dad can't agree on what furniture to buy.

Because I can remember the words to her favorite songs, and I sing them (badly) to her when she can't find You Tube.

Because without you, she would have to work on the blog twice as hard.

Because I went out in Greece on a gyro run at 5AM after we'd pulled an all-nighter and needed some munchies.
