Out of 144 released in Malayalam cinema in the year 2015, more than 40% of movies were directed by debut directors. Mollywood witnessed the spring of new generation film makers in last year. Here we have my list best 10 directors among them who proved their filming talent.
Debut Movie : Oraalpokkam
Oraalppokkam is a Malayalam film written and directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan. It is the first Malayalam movie which has been produced through online Crowdfunding program. This is an initiative of Kazhcha Chalachithra Vedi, a film society movement based in Thiruvananthapuram. Kazhcha has a history of producing short movies with the financial contribution from film lovers. Oraalppokkam is the fourth venture of Kazhcha.

Haram is a 2015 Indian Malayalam romantic drama film written, edited and directed by Vinod Sukumaran. The film, produced by P Sukumar and Saji Samuel, under the banner of Odd Impressions and Big Leaf, stars Fahadh Faasil and Radhika Apte.

Love 24x7 is a 2015 Indian Malayalam romantic comedy film written and directed by debutante Sreebala K Menon starring Dileep and debutante Nikhila Vimal in lead roles while Suhasini, Sashi Kumar, Lena and Sreenivasan plays the supporting roles. Mukesh R Mehta and Dileep co-produced the film for E4 Entertainment in association with Graand Production.

Chirakodinja Kinavukal (English: Dreams with Broken Wings) is a 2015 Malayalam spoof film. Directed by debuntant Santhosh Viswanath, the film has been produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames. The film features Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban and Rima Kallingal as the lead characters along with Joy Mathew and Srinda Ashab. Chirakodinja Kinavukal released on May 1 to generally positive reviews.

Amar Akbar Anthony is a 2015 Malayalam comedy film directed by Nadirshah. It stars Prithviraj,Jayasurya and Indrajith in lead roles, while Namitha Pramod appears in female lead. The screenplay was written by Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. Sony Music was the film's soundtrack label. The tracks were composed by Nadirshah himself, while background score by Bijibal.
