Best advice I can give to any producer or DJ out there is to be different. Do not copycat anyone or anything. Start discovering your sound and be original. Keep practicing and never give up on what you really want and love!

I would say my musical influences are very diverse. I come from a family where my mom and dad listen to many genres, I grew up with that. A lot of Latin, Reggaeton, Pop, Funk, Dancehall, Rock. So the way I was brought up in music was very, all over the place, in a good way that is.

2015 was a year of so many new opportunities for me as an upcoming artist, being able to share the stage with big names in the scene and being able to play outside of Puerto Rico was a really big highlight for me. Also getting support from Diplo & Friends, TWRK and Mad Decent with my Feel The Volume remix of Jauz.

I don’t know but, maybe people here are afraid to lose their ‘spotlight’ to someone else, when they don’t know that it can grow bigger and could multiply their benefits. Lately the majority of the general public doesn’t look past the ‘headliners’ and ‘top’ DJs in the scene, leaving the “uprising” to the more ‘hipsters’ and music geeks. But I see and have faith that some things are being done and can still be done about that in the near future.

I think everybody should make their own style, right now the EDM scene is very commercial. I hope that improves in 2016
