A tea-centric shop attached to Phoenix coworking spot Co+Hoots in downtown Phoenix, ">" is the origin of this empanada/waffle mashup that stuffs an alway-rotating variety of meats into flaky dough, pressed up to order before your eyes.

Lo-Lo's is the alpha and omega of Chicken and Waffles in AZ. Their legendary chicken recipe, straight from the founder's grandma's kitchen produces light, crispy and tasty chicken. Their waffles are better than Roscoe's. Fuck it, let's say it. Lo-Lo's > Roscoe's. Our L.A. privileges be damned, Lo-Lo's offers a number of locations in the valley, and with their franchise operations in full swing, they'll have Cali on lock sooner rather than later.
