Water World

Resources related to water technology and science.

Water - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Water (chemical formula: ) is a transparent fluid which forms the world's streams, lakes, oceans and rain, and is the major constituent of the fluids of organisms. As a chemical compound, a water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms that are connected by covalent bonds.

Groundwater

Groundwater (or ground water) is the water present beneath Earth's surface in soil pore spaces and in the fractures of rock formations. A unit of rock or an unconsolidated deposit is called an aquifer when it can yield a usable quantity of water.

Water pollution

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater). This form of environmental degradation occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment to remove harmful compounds. Water pollution affects the entire biosphere - plants and organisms living in these bodies of water.

Industrial water conditioning

In many cases, these process waters are at high temperatures, up to 90ÂșC, they contain cleaning solutions or oxidizer products, or they have characteristics that make the operation difficult. Filtration systems based on Likuid ceramic membranes, allow the in line treatment of this type of waters with high filtration efficiency, reliability and durability.
