Shekhar Kapur describes himself assomeone caught in the adventure of life.And never sees himself as a filmmaker, butsomeone caught in the adventure of filmmaking.
He is known for films made both in Indiaand in the West. In India, he has had box office hits like Masoom, Mr India, and thecontroversial Bandit Queen. His Elizabeth and its sequel Golden Age garnered several Oscar nominations and two wins between them in the West. Kapur's films tend to move across genres.

Director, Korea
JEON Kyu-hwan had a unique career path in becoming an influential film director. He made his directorial debut without having any formal educational background. Starting with Mozart Town, his debut feature in 2008, he made the Town trilogy, including Animal Town (2009) and Dance Town (2010) by employing an arthouse film production method.

Actress, Germany
German actress Julia Jentsch was born in Berlin in 1978. There she studied acting at Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art. Jentsch began her acting career at Münchner Kammerspiele where she played Desdemona in
Shakespeare's Othello and Sophocles' Antigone.

Director/Screenwriter, UK
Michael Radford was born in India of a British father and an Austrian mother, brought up in the Middle East, and educated at Oxford University and the National Film and Television school. He started as a freelance documentary director, but in 1983 moved into fiction as a screenwriter/ director with Another Time Another Place, selected by the Cannes Film Festival (Director's Fortnight), selected as best movie of the year by Cahiers du Cinema and winner of the Prix Henry Langlois, the Bafta Award for best newcomer, and 15 other international prizes.

Director, Screenwriter and Producer
Suha Arraf was born in the Palestinian village of Melyia, near Lebanon. She began her film career as a documentary film-maker. Her docu-film Women of Hamas (2010) received 13 awards at international film festivals.
