After adjusting the tone of the image

I wanted to give it a bit of clarity which adds a little sharpness and contrast. For those images that you feel need a little punch the “Clarity slider

This gives you great control. As we usually do not want to sharpen things like sky and water I keep moving the slider to the right until these are completely black.
