Come learn about Pocket Letter Pals with Deb Whitehouse at a free Info night next Wednesday, October 14th @ 7PM . Pocket Letter Pals is a fun way to share your love of scrap booking and card making and a new way to communicate with a Pen Pal. This info night will cover the basics on how to sign up and manipulate the website and will also go over how and what to create for items to put into the pockets. Saturn will be low in the sky and sets soon after the sun. Get a look at the ringed planet before it drops below the horizon. Take a hands-on approach using a large telescope to explore the stars, constellations, nebulae, galaxies and more. Bring binoculars and star charts if you have them.
A simple monthly star chart will be provided. Class meets outside, please dress accordingly. In the event of cloudy weather, the make-up date will be Friday, October 23.
