Perhaps most important of all is the need to make sure your protective software is of a high quality and is kept up to date.
Staff need to use a password that cannot be easily guessed and certainly isn't shared with others. They also need to change it regularly.
Is the website authentic? Check the URL to see if it is a variation on the one you are used to.
Do not be deceived into clicking on links in an email. If it purports to link to a company you know, then use your usual entry point or login.
Unless from a trusted source, be wary of attachments sent from unknown companies and do not open them before checking out the companies legitimacy.
