Indian women are known for their true beauty and charm. Modelling as a career is very difficult to survive especially in a place like India. Here is a list of such top Inidan models who made it big in the industry.

Noyonika Chatterjee

Her name doesn't need any introduction. This Bengali beauty is one of the earliest Indian supermodels. After 10 years of marriage and becoming the mother of a daughter too, she continues to be. She is married to Gurpreet Singh, a model-turned-actor and a real estate developer.

Sheetal Mallar

Mallar's first shoot was for Danabhai Jewellers. She was placed among the 12 finalists in the Elite Supermodel Contest held in 1994 and worked for Armani and Fendi. She is the face of Maybelline cosmetics.

Nina Manuel

Manuel began her modeling career with a show for Ensemble, an haute couture store, and got picked up by India's top designers. She started out doing a lot of ramp shows and consequently got modelling contracts with San Miguel, Lawman Jeans, Bausch & Lomb, Levi's, Coca-Cola, The Indian Express and Kodak. She has also done shoots for designers and music videos with Baba Sehgal, Remo and Anaida. She has done ramp shows for designers like Suneet Varma, JJ Valaya, Raghvendra Rathod and Ravi Bajaj.

Madhu Sapre

In the 1990s, Sapre was an athlete who rose to fame when she started modeling at a very young age. As Miss India she represented India at the 1992 Miss Universe pageant, where she was the 2nd runner up.[1] In her answer to her final question at the pageant, Sapre talked about the lack of sports fields in India for athletes to practice on. Her rather unusual answer made her the third finalist that evening instead of the winner.

Nethra Raghuraman

Nethra Raghuraman (born 29 November 1976) is an Indian actress and model from Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She has been selected as Look of the Year contest winner for Femina magazine in 1997. She also won the Best female newcomer title at Star Screen Awards in 2000. Her most notable films include Thakshak by Govind Nihalani and Bhopal Express, a David Lynch presentation.

Touted to be India's most successful supermodel She walked the runway for Yves Saint-Laurent, Roberto Cavalli, Hugo Boss, Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Gucci, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Emilio Pucci, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She has also posed for advertisements of Dolce & Gabbana, Gap, H&M, Pianegonda, Roberto Cavalli, and Yves Saint-Laurent.
