LERN Public Schools and Community Ed Member Highlights - Sept. 25

Old Orchard Beach/Saco Adult & Community Education turns an eco-friendly trend into great programming.

Turn your old junk and recyclables into treasures and gifts!
Learn techniques and ideas to give new life to your old items! We will do several small projects you can take home and discuss ideas to create other beautiful items. Discover ways to reuse old T-shirts, upcycle wine bottles & corks, and give new life to tin cans and glass jars. Class one: please bring four old T-shirts and a pair of scissors. Class two: please bring one wine bottle with label removed, two wine corks, an old book and a pair of scissors. Class three: please bring one clean tin can and one old glass jar, with labels removed.

Kelly Thayer, BA in Studio Art from U Maine, is the owner/artist at Kreations working with all types of materials. She is also a certified group exercise instructor, has been a dancer for 10 years and teaching for four.
