Notes: This product is deceiving as they list the amount per serving and not per capsule. Each capsule is 300 mg at 15% L-Dopa yielding 60 mg l dopa per capsule. Now Foods does not have a great reputation when it comes to herbal supplements. They are very generic and do not seem to put a great amount of care into the sourcing of their herbs and keeping them ayurvedic and toxin-free. We suggest going with a more holistic company for your herbal supplements.

Notes: We are wary of any Mucuna pruriens extract that is greater than 30% L-Dopa. At those levels, you are sacrificing the benefits of the plant itself. Also, this Mucuna is grown in China, know for high levels of toxicity in their soils and a lack of worldwide trust in herbal supplements.
We also noticed in the certificate of analysis that maltodextrin is used as a carrier agent. This is not listed in the ingredients. At first glance, this looks like a "too-good-to-be-true" product, but with further inspection it is only worthy of a 6/10.

Notes: What was once a trusted company is now very low on the list. Just look at those other ingredients! Those ingredients do not belong next to an ayurvedic herb like Mucuna pruriens. It is very confusing as to how much plant material vs. Ldopa is in each capsule. According to our calculations if what they say is true that they are extracting 100 mg of L-Dopa from 166 mg of mucuna plant material, then that is a 60% L-Dopa extraction which is really unrealistic.
