By popular demand, we are returning to Austin for another DDP.
Startups Giftiki and Kiip are making it happen for SXSW 2012.
The theme is Extreme Physical Fitness.
What is a Decentralized Dance Party (DDP)?
The DDP is a portable, battery-powered Party System.
It was invented by Tom and Gary, two gentlemen from Vancouver.
It consists of hundreds of Party people, carrying boomboxes, and a DJ who wears a backpack, containing an FM radio transmitter.
Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.

This will be year five of the Social Breakfast! Join Ewan at Magnolia's Cafe and start your SXSW experience in the company of friends, both new and old at "The SXSW Social Breakfast." Everyone is welcome, this is an open invitation to share breakfast at one of Austin's greatest Cafe's (or at least... one of the greatest I've found in many years at SXSW) on the first morning of the conference.
Magnolia's will be opening up the patio area for the meeting, and of course we'll have the rest of the restaurant for any overspill, so turn up, grab a table, and enjoy a great meal. You'll have plenty time to chat, have your coffee, and still make it back in time for the first sessions.
Once again, the fun-filled big top circus that is the Mashery Lounge will be back at SXSW 2012 in March. With great furnishings and flowing refreshments, the Circus Mashimus is a great place to talk API shop with Mashery folks or simply relax while catching up on email.
