Pros of Selling on Amazon FBA

1

Exposure.

Exposure.

Amazon is the most visited retail shelf in the world. Among the millions of products sold, your product always stands a chance of getting seen through Amazon’s complex and accurate search bar.
You are putting your product in front of a potential audience of more than 244 million!

2

Reviews.

Reviews.

Amazon customers are the most eager customers to leave reviews for a product. This could be really good, or not so good, depending on what type of reviews you get. Either way you get a really good idea of how the general public is responding to your product and what things you may need to change. Let’s just say you’re getting a bunch of great reviews. You can use these as testimonials in other places such as on your website or articles about your products.

3

Automation.

Automation.

Once your product listing is up there will be some work to do to get your listing up in the Amazon search rankings. Once your product starts selling well, you will see sales just start to automatically come in, even while you sleep. And there’s no work for you do, this is all automated. No packing supplies for you (except to ship large shipments to Amazon FBA), no daily orders. This gives you time to focus on marketing and advertising your product.

4

Brand Awareness.

Brand Awareness.

Just by being on Amazon there is no doubt your brand will gain more exposure than if you weren’t there. Even if you don’t close a sale from an Amazon visitor, they have now seen your brand and they may even be tempted to visit your website to find more information about your product before buying. This could lead to more sales on your website as well.

5

Prime.

Prime.

By selling Amazon FBA you have a strong advantage over other products that are sold by merchant. You get the ever-so-popular prime image next to your listing showing that your product offers free shipping for Prime members.
Bookkeeping. Amazon stores all information about your sales. Amazon is accounting crazy. You can download all different types of reports and track your inventory very easily. Amazon also takes care of your tax records and you just have to download your tax forms whenever you need.

6

Customer Service.

Customer Service.

Some may have something different to say about this, but we have also had positive experiences with Amazon’s Seller customer service. They really go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need to continue selling. With so many changing rules, it is difficult for us, the sellers, and for every Amazon employee to keep up with. They understand this and have always treated us with respect and understanding no matter how large or small the situation.
