Updates about the Sony A7s II which was announced 2015-09-11
It was an inevitable announcement, and today we finally got it: the Sony a7S II has been introduced with internal 4K. [This post will be updated frequently] Building off the stellar quality of the While the other internal 4K Sony camera, the a7S, the a7S II has better internal processing to handle shooting 4K up to 30fps straight to the SD cards.
Sony has revealed the mirrorless full-frame Alpha A7s II, the successor to one of its most unusual cameras. The original Alpha A7s carried a maximum 409,600 max ISO setting, allowing images to be captured in near darkness. The new model fixes the biggest problem with the original: for 4K video, you needed an external recorder.
In a big press event at IBC 2015 Sony just announced the highly anticipated Sony A7S mark II, providing the same lowlight capabilities as its predecessor with internal 4K recording. It's the first day at IBC 2015 and besides the announcement of the new Sony FS5 Sony just surprised us with the introduction of the Sony A7S mark II.
