Just wanted to share a few of my November DT projects for Jillibean Soup. They're up on the blog today along with a lovely tag by DT member Ingrid Danvers. My girls and I made these as a table centerpiece. We cut 12 circles each: 4 inches, 5 inches, and 6 inches.
To create this reusable garland, you'll need: Fabric scraps in harvest hues (pick up inexpensive "fat quarters," or quarter yards of material used for quilting, at any fabric store) Fusible interfacing An embroidery needle Floss An iron Scissors Directions: Sandwich interfacing between two matching fabric squares, and iron - this will give the leaves some stiffness.
I recently joined a Silhouette Group on Facebook. I've had mine for over a year and I've only used it a few dozen times, that's pretty awful for such a versatile (and expensive!) machine. For my first project I wanted to do something I've never done before.
Used Dusty Attic Vine and Picket Fence The flourish around the pumpkins is from Cheery Lynn designs
I made this darling paper wreath in about 10 minutes, and look how cute it is! I love bringing the fall season colors into my home! The reds, deep greens, creams etc. They are just lovely together. This is very fast and makes a fun statement to any door or room.
Hi everyone! Audrey here with a fun fall decor idea for our Watch Us Wednesday Tutorial here at The Kraft Journal. This week's challenge is Lavish Layers, and this little pumpkin is just perfect for it, as it is just that........lots and lots of layers. 10 paper rosette layers, as a matter of fact.
Cindy Coutts(KY Southern Belle) has selected Chrissy Dickinson(chrissyd723) as the Featured Stamper of the week. Chrissy has a VAST and wonderful gallery filled with cards of many styles and subject matter. It was fun choosing. I'm reposting this project from 2010 to let you know that I have posted instructions on the Instructions Tab. These particular Pumpkins were made with 10-11 strips of 3/4" (or 1") x 5-1/2" (or 6") strips of cardstock.
