“I spend my free time outside the office with my 6 Grandchildren nearby (3 girls/3 boys). They provide all the activities you have the time and energy to participate in! The youngest granddaughter has a full ride scholarship to San Jose State for her volleyball skills; I’ve been to many matches! My 6 year old grandson appears to have some baseball skills that might materialize into something meaningful. I’ve been to many games. I have a 10 year old nephew that we sponsor karate, drum, and art lessons for. My sister , Kathy, lives on a full acre, which has the amenities of a resort. My family frequently invades her home for food, games, swimming, and general overall camaraderie!"

“After 41 years in the retail automobile industry, I retired in 2013 only to be recruited by my sister (Kathy) to help her manage the administrative functions of her office. The most satisfaction comes from watching our mortgage consultants go above and beyond for those really difficult loans and then see the expressions on their faces when the loan funds. Their excitement and enthusiasm for their client is almost emotional to the point of tears of joy. Everyone we have touched so far has been more than accommodating and the almost instant response to any question or need is just short of amazing!”

"Outside of work, my life is at my home with my four dogs. Two of my dogs are New Foundland/Great Pyrenees mix at 160 pounds, 1 is pure Great Pyrenees and one is a rescue Pomeranian (15 pound boss). I BBQ pigs feet for them, walk them a few miles every morning. I also have my 93 year old mother living with me, I call her my teenager."

“I joined the mortgage industry in 1989. Before, I was in Auto Finance and was recruited into the mortgage business by a family friend. I didn’t even know what a mortgage was, but I learned and was nominated rookie of the year 1990. I love to help people--I find this industry allows me to change peoples’ lives. I often describe what I do as putting together a puzzle; it is very rewarding when the pieces fit. The feeling of helping someone purchase a home can give me the chills. Being a part of the plan is very special.”
