Narina & Tarek
Nilaya Hermitage- Goa, India
From Lebanon, Narina & Tarek chose to have their wedding off the
southwest coast of India. The three day event was jam packed with big
details - they had an 'anything goes' attitude. The festivities began at a
Greek restaurant. Everyone mingled in white while enjoying the stunning
views. Mid-week, the crowd gathered for a beach party. Appetizers were
served while friends were encouraged to get loose in beach-side teepees.
Lastly, Narina and Tarek invited their guests to the Nilaya resort to
witness them exchange vows. The entire event was over the top Indian
kitsch -- full of everything India inspires. From mismatched silverware to
sparkly Ganesh hanging from the trees to a custom painted tuk-tuk. As their
guests arrived they were directed to the turban wrapping station where they
each received a turban of their choice. Narina was dressed in a custom
made, Indian inspired gown while Tarek was dressed in a full Sergeant
Pepper's mash up. The entire event was unexpected surprises, fun, and
love.
