At the Powerhouse you can also watch free live comedy on Sunday nights. You get to see the cream of both national and international comedians every week at 6.30 pm. If you stay at one of the Moranbha Hotels such as Oaks Charlotte Towers, it would be much easier to reach the powerhouse.

The gallery is also the only committed cinema facility in an Australian art museum. The gallery also runs its own retail outlets and cafes and restaurants.
