Here you can see a good range both local and international paintings. Their aim is to be the leading institution for the contemporary art of Australia, Asia and the Pacific. Known as QAGOMA in short, the gallery has a collection of more than 16000 works of historical, modern and contemporary art. The gallery is also the only committed cinema facility in an Australian art museum. The gallery also runs its own retail outlets and cafes and restaurants.
