A 'corporate sacrifice zone' is an area destroyed by corporate pollution and destruction. These areas are usually in places with poor, minority residents... because they often don't have the power to stop it.

Rather than creating an individualized “culture of giving,” we should be challenging capitalism’s institutionalized taking.
