LERN Parks & Recreation Member Highlights - July 31

City of Newport Beach Recreation Department takes care.

The City's Jr. Lifeguards and Recreation Dept. have partnered with Heartfelt Cardiac Projects (HCP) to offer low-cost cardiac screenings this Friday, 7/31, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room of City Hall. Each screening will include an echocardiogram and an electrocardiogram for a donation of $85 per person, ages 5 and up.

According to HCP, more than 450,000 Americans die from Sudden Cardiac Arrest annually and, on average, a young athlete dies from Sudden Cardiac Arrest every three days. Get your family checked - early detection helps save lives. Learn more here - http://bit.ly/1VLCDHh
