Barbara McInnis House

Patient visits with staff physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants; 24-hour nursing care; behavioral health services and psychiatric consultations; dental services; pharmacy services on-site; patient support groups and health education; IV antibiotics with PICC line.

Qualifications: Have a primary medical problem, be medically and psychologically stable to be managed in our setting, need short-term care, be independent in activities of daily living
Restrictions: if the patient is taking methadone, he or she must be enrolled in a methadone program.
Referral: patients are admitted 24-hours a day, 7 days a week based on referrals from hospitals, shelters, clinics, and various other healthcare service providers. Patients cannot self-refer for admission to the Barbara McInnis House

Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC)

Provides hotline crisis counseling, adolescent and family services, support groups, medical advocacy and legal advocacy. Survivors of sexual assault receive 12 weeks of free counseling. BARCC also provides violence prevention education workshops.

Program provides and coordinates services for victims and survivors of interpersonal violence. Jean Yawkey Place

Primary care clinic with 10 examining rooms for primary care and 4 for behavioral health, plus podiatry, optometry, diabetes collaborative, HIV team, transgender clinic, suboxone clinic, women's health initiative. A dental clinic with five operatories, the dental clinic provides comprehensive dental services. Behavioral health clinicians consult with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses, often joining them in the examination room with a patient to address issues collaboratively. Two licensed mental health clinicians are available to meet with patients in crisis as needed. A medical respite care facility at Barbara McInnis House provides 102 beds for 24-hour, cost-effective medical and recuperative services for patients with complex conditions like cancer, heart disease, pneumonia, and high risk pregnancy.

Victory Programs is a Boston-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families who are homeless and may have substance use disorders, often accompanied by chronic health issues like HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and mental illness.
