Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman met with the Director of US National Intelligence lieutenant general James Clapper in Jeddah yesterday. During the meeting, the Deputy Crown Prince and Mr Clapper covered several issues of common interest between the two allies, according to the SPA.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al Saud has pledged to donate his $32bn personal fortune to charity. The 60-year-old nephew of King Salman is one of the world's richest people, and stated that his inspiation for making the pledge was Bill Gates. The Gates Foundation, set up by Bill and Melinda Gates in 1997.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is rumoured to be planning a visit to Israel in the near future, according to reports published in the Jerusalem Post. If the visit does go ahead it could be a historic breakthrough. King Salman has recently called for a renewed dialogue with Israel, so this visit would be the next logical step forward.
Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Russia on Wednesday evening on an official visit, as the representative of Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. Upon arrival at Bulkifa airport in St. Petersburg, the Deputy Crown Prince was received by Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.
