7 Email Newsletters That Will Ensure You're Stepping Up Your Digital Marketing Game

We're all looking for content to educate ourselves and keep us updated with the latest news and advice. The right advice helps us further our careers. The right content shared helps build authority and personal brand. But the biggest issue is finding the right content. Understanding who to trust. And trying to do all that without spending too much time.

So we look to trusted sources that curate the best content on our behalf. This list highlights the sources that I have come to trust over the past few years of living and breathing digital.

The Moz Top 10

Previously the go-to resource for SEO tips and advice, Moz is now a terrific resource for professionals looking to build on their inbound marketing understanding. Subscribe to the semi-monthly email newsletter to get links to what they consider the Top 10 best inbound marketing articles at the time. You can expect to receive links to a couple of their own articles and Whiteboard Friday videos, whilst also highlighting a number of other resources/articles from other publishers.

Awesome, Actionable Social Media Tips

In recent times Buffer has significantly stepped up the content it produces with amazing results. It is now our top source of great social content and content that engages our community. Subscribe to receive daily blog content, full of all the best social media tips, tools, experiments, and advice.

The #1 Inbound Marketing Community | Inbound.org

The Inbound community has a distinct connection to two of our other listings here - Hubspot and Moz. More specifically Moz's Rand Fishkin and Hubspot's Dharmesh Singh. Inbound.org is the largest community or network of inbound marketers with 75,000 + members worldwide. Subscribe to Inbound.org and they'll deliver trending inbound marketing info to your inbox. In general a terrific place to connect and grow your inbound skills.

Sign Up For the Backlinko Newsletter

For the average punter SEO is not easy content to consume. Unless you're following Brian Dean's Backlinko. He is open and honest about his past mistakes and gets you concentrating less on the frequency of your posts and more on the promotion of your content. And he has plenty of examples of crazy success to have you thinking he's onto something. We've probably implemented more of Brian's tips than any of the info coming from the other guys here.

Copy Hackers Newsletter - Marketing Goodness in Your Inbox

It would be so easy to fill this list with social and SEO newsletters. But for a well-rounded digital education you must understand the importance of great copy and its impact on conversions. You seriously start to understand the value of conversion copy when you find yourself reading that first newsletter from start to finish. No stopping and scanning, actually reading. Subscribe to Copyhackers and you're going to be flooded with new ideas and tips to help you drive more leads/sales.

OkDork.com - Noah Kagan

I love AppSumo! So many awesome deals that I feel compelled to buy. But it wasn't until the guys launched SumoMe that I started to pay attention to the guy behind the business. Noah Kagan is a charismatic guy who clearly loves what he's doing and helping others. Noah promises from the outset to deliver you Business Hacks and he won't let you down. Real tips that you're going to implement in your business. And the cool thing is, it's not the typical stuff you hear from everyone else. It's unique tips. Tips so simple that you just kick yourself going 'why didn't I think of that'.

HubSpot's Marketing Blog

HubSpot is Inbound Marketing. So what better place to find tips, tricks, and advice on attracting, engaging, and converting your audience. On topics including SEO, blogging, social media, lead generation, email marketing, lead management, analytics, and more. You'll receive a weekly email newsletter with each of the blog posts they published that week. A great education and content that will engage your own social community.
