(BBC News) -- A young female suicide bomber is reported to have killed at least 10 people in north-eastern Nigeria. A witness said the girl, who detonated explosives in the town of Gujba in Yobe state, was about 12 years old. Another 20 people were injured in the blast.

(CNN) -- Boko Haram militants opened fire on northern Nigerian villages, leaving bodies scattered everywhere and as many as 2,000 people feared dead. Islamist militants sprayed bullets as they stormed in last weekend in trucks and armored vehicles, local authorities said Friday. "Some people who hid in their homes were burned alive."

(CNN) -- Explosives strapped to a girl detonated at a crowded marketplace in Nigeria, killing at least 20 people and injuring 18 others, according to police. The police estimate differed from the local hospital's estimate, which counted 51 people with blast injuries.

(Channels Television) --** Two people have been killed after a bomb went off **at the Potiskum Divisional Police Station in Yobe State in north-east Nigeria. Potiskum is the largest commercial town in Yobe State and located 100km west of Damaturu, the state's capital. No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion, but the Boko Haram sect is believed to have carried out the attack.

(BBC News) -- At least 46 students have been killed by a suicide bomber at a school assembly in the north-eastern Nigerian town of Potiskum, police have said. A suicide bomber dressed as a student is believed to have caused the blast at the boys' school in Yobe state . Another 79 were wounded.
