Visit the Leshen Giant Buddha

The Leshen Giant Buddha is the largest structure of the Buddha in the seated position. Standing 71m tall and over 24m wide, this giant Buddha monument is carved into a large mountain of reddish stone, and has also been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monument is so big, that it is common to hear the phrase "the Buddha is the mountain, and the mountain is the Budda".
