E3 Announcments

This is a list of games that were announced at E3 2015... games that I really want to come to Linux.

No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky is a game I've been hyped about since it's first announcement trailer. I have a feeling this game will be intensely immersive. It's a shame I won't get a chance to play it if it's not coming to Linux/SteamOS.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

I'm a huge South Park fan. And when The Fractured But Whole was announced during Ubisoft's press conference, I was floored. The fact that I couldn't tell if this was an animated by South Park Studios or animated in-engine is a testament to the quality of their game.

Stick Of Truth, the previous title in the South Park RPG franchise, did not see a Linux release. Hopefully Trey Parker and Matt Stone see the value of a multiplatform PC release.

Fallout 4

Fallout 4

Bethesda began the show by dropping the mic. How could they've possibly improved their great showing? By announcing that Fallout 4 was coming to Linux. I'm ashamed to say I have actually never played a Fallout game before, but from what I've seen, it looks like this'd be right up my alley!

Rare Replay

Rare Replay

I know, I know. It won't happen. Microsoft's too invested in Windows 10. But I love classic Rare games, particularly Conker, Banjo-Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. Let me dream, okay?!

5

DOOM

DOOM

I've been playing Doom since I was a boy. My cousin and I would boot up the game and play it together without our parents permission. And it was so much fun. This game is looking pretty cool and I'd love to see id Software continue their tradition of releasing Doom games for Linux.

Dishonored 2

Dishonored 2

Dishonored is getting a SEQUEL! I'm very excited about this and it seems the Internet is abuzz with this announcement as well. Now all it needs is a Linux port!
