The Guiyuan Buddhist Temple is dated back to the early days of the Chinese Republic. Spreading over a vast 46,000m2, this temple is considered to be the 4th largest Buddhist temple in the Hubei province of China. The temple is famous for housing the Daxiongbaodian Hall, the Arhat Hall, and the Sutra Collection Pavilion, all of which are known for their cultural and architectural value. The Guiyuan Buddhist Temple is also a well known meditation centre, and is visited by many locals and tourists on a regular basis.
