Possum (aged 2.2) absolutely loves playing with my classic play dough recipe and has done from a very early age.

Cold porcelain is an inexpensive, non-toxic, easy-to-work-with material. Despite its name it is not porcelain. It does not require heating since it gets hard by exposure to fresh air. It is a cornstarch based paste, which when dry is slightly flexible and has the appearance of real porcelain.

Ever since I discovered cold porcelain clay, it has been used in a lot of my projects. The best thing about it is that you can make it yourself, it is easy and the ingredients are cheap. Cold porcelain clay is a great polymer clay alternative.
