We all tend to doubt the person who isn't looking straight into the eyes. We ask in our mind, "What's he trying to hide? What's he afraid of? Is he trying to put something over on me? Sometimes it may convey the wrong message of guilt. When one looks at the eyes and speaks he is conveying his confidence. This might seem like a irrelevant point in this list. But many leading self-help gurus have recommended this. And also you don't need their persuasion too. Just try to smile and also to feel sad…you just couldn't do it right. It is because smile in all its simplicity is a powerful tool to show confidence.

Only the intelligent, and the confident sit in the front desks in any class. Naturally people think of themselves lower than other people. Taking the back seat shows the mental set up of a person. If the person is positive and confident he will sit in the front seat. By practising this consciously one can certainly become more confident.
