Top Web/Internet tools I use

Yep, the internet is an important and confusing place to some businesses as well as individuals... but if you need some help with web hosting or files or stuff like that, here are tools I recommend.

Some of the links are affiliate links.

Host Duplex | Shared Web Hosting | Dedicated Servers

You need a website - you need a place to put it. Host Duplex is that place hands down.

I don't know that I'll ever leave HostDuplex. They have by far the best customer service of any web site hosting service. I've referred tons of customers and have even given them a video testimony I love them so much. You can pay less on cheap hosting services, but you won't get the service you get with HD.

From their site: "The Host Duplex primary datacenter facility resides in downtown Chicago. This facility includes InterNAP optimized Performance Network utilizing our carefully chosen carriers Savvis, nLayer, Level(3) and TeliaSonera. We have also recently expanded into our brand new Los Angeles facility. Orders for dedicated servers can be placed in either location upon request."

Copy - Cloud hosting for your files and backups

Host your files in the cloud - have them on all your devices - phone, computer, laptop, tablet.

planetMitch: great service to sync your files across devices and still have them on the web for emergencies. See my comparison

Dropbox! All your files in the cloud

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

planetMitch: very much like copy (above) but has a few more integrated services but offers less space for free when you sign up. See my comparison

PopUp Domination - The World's Leading Lightbox Opt-in Software

I've used several popups on my blog - and yes, users can sometimes complain about them, but once you've used one with a significant piece of bait, users will sign up for your list.

Popup Domination is one of the leading services on the planet. It does cost $ so if you're wanting to try free, look at AppSumo's SumoMe below

SumoMe - New free WordPress plugin to grow your email list

SumoMe is a great tool and it starts out free. You can build an email list like you can with Popup Domination. There are a few other tools they include as well - some are free and some are inexpensive.

If you want to just get started, start here with SumoMe and think about Popup Domination later

WebinarIgnition | The Most Powerful Webinar Platform for Live & Automated Webinars

I've been using WebinarIgnition for more than a year. Great plugin for WordPress with the ability to manage your webinars and get email signups from your community. Wish they'd upgrade their user interface to a GUI like ClickFunnels has tho - the UI is clunky and hard to manage. Primary video integration is with Google Hangouts (which is free). It handles questions live very nicely and even sends out email reminders (when you do some setup - which they have help for but it isn't super obvious - but if you follow the steps it works).

WebinarIgnition integrates with the WordPress CMS, making it super easy to install and manage your webinar campaigns directly from the WordPress dashboard. WebinarIgnition can integrate with any email auto-responder including top providers like GetResponse, Aweber, iContact, SendReach, and MailChimp. Allow visitors to register via their Facebook login.

Heat Map Tracker by planet5D

You have your website up, but now you need to know when people visit and what they're looking at on your pages. Sure, you can use google analytics, but you won't see the details as plainly as Heat Map Tracker does and it gives you eye tracking to show where your users are looking and clicking on your pages!

You can look at services like crazyegg, but they're expensive and don't have as many features!! Try ours and you'll see how easy and useful it is to see what your users are doing!
