#Small #Business The price points for small businesses are much lower than large business. Less overhead, and a "hungrier" ownership. “Shopping Small” is often a better deal. So you should always examine your alternatives to determine whether there is a small business that can deliver on your requirements . . .and don’t do it to be nice, but because it’s the smart thing to do.
#There are many more small businesses from which to choose . . . And none of them has cornered the marketplace. So they are more than likely willing to provide better more responsive service in order to keep your business. It is common knowledge that monopoly or oligopoly breeds complacency and arrogance . . . (Take a look at your own Cable service).
#The small business decision-maker is much closer within reach than the decision maker at a large business . . . who may just be an account representative without authority to be creative. Click here to select your Recruiters. Moreover, because it has a less bureaucratic Infrastructure, you can always reach the small business owner, whereas the actual owners of a large business may not even be within the country, or even know you exist.
#Small Business owners are often working 24/7 in the business, whereas large businesses are typically run by 8 to 5 managers – Employees who, regardless of their titles, may have no authority to deviate from rules that have been promulgated in some distant ivory tower. So since you are not dealing with the owner, specialized service, contract modifications and problem resolution are much more difficult, if not impossible, and more costly. Small business owners are glad to have you as a customer and will throw in "extras" if those extras will keep you happy and still permit them to make a margin.
#The dollars you spend with a Small Business are more likely to remain in the US, and circulate through the consumer section, the government revenue stream, the public services and infrastructure management systems and the public and your friends and family. Whereas the revenue you “donate” to many large businesses will often be directly pipelined offshore, through international or clandestine banking, foreign ownership or investment.
