With a clean, simple front end, Skyro is easy to use and makes finding previous recordings a dream. You can add multiple tags - including location based ones – and back up to Dropbox, an incredibly useful feature if you often find yourself sat at a computer while your phone charges elsewhere. Widget support and Sharing over Bluetooth, MMS and email simply sweeten the deal.
As well as utilising tags, you can add pictures and text to your recordings meaning that you can easily store whiteboard presentations and key points along with the audio from your meetings. The ability to highlight key sections of the audio means you'll never waste time sifting through hours of recordings again. The premium version adds voice recording and transcription.

Adopting a 'real world' visual, Recordoid actually requires you to push a tape into your virtual dictaphone. Again, the feature set isn't as advanced as others, but the visual quirks set it apart from the rest. Somewhat clunky menus may rule it out for some, however simplicity of use, auto backup and headset support make it one to consider.
