Visit the simply stunning historic town of Dinan overlooking the River Rance with its cobbled streets, stone & timber Medieval houses and the divine Port which can be reached from both Saint Malo or Dinard. Spend the day wandering around one of Brittany's prettiest and most characterful Towns enjoying the shops, cafes and creperies. Take a ride on the little train, as a great way of exploring the City. It feels like your stepping back in time to a wonderully mystical place - my two young boys even compare it to Diagon Alley from Harry Potter!
Stepping over the border to Normandy - Explore this stunning island with its ancient fortififications dating back to the 8th Century from the Abbey, Monestery and Great Halls at the top down to the fishermans houses at the bottom. Le Mont Saint-Michel also has some fantastic sea view restaurants.
Relax on the golden sandy beach of Pleneuf Val Andre with its fine soft sand and beautiful promonade. For a fun night out check out the waterfront casino.
Take a trip to the Grand Aquarium in St Malo with its very own yellow submarine know as the Nautibus and experience your very own undewater adventure.
Spend a day at the wonderful Bourbansais Zoo as well as the very impressive Cheteau gardens. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time as the park grounds are lovely to explore and the animal talks are both fun and interesting. Its great to see the animals so happy and well cared for. This is always a faveorite for us.
Explore the Quintessential pink granite coast at Ploumanach famous for its historical walks. Check out the colourful and dramatic stone formations from Perros-Guirec.
Take in this 'little town of character along with its 170 Acre leisure lake - here there really is something for everyone from water sports on the lake at Jugon Les Lacs as well as fishing, cycling and hiking. There is also a delightful weekly market every friday morning when the place really comes to life.
Take in the lovely French seaside atmosphere from the wonderful Town of Dinard, go for a stroll along the beautiful promenade and enjoy some 'moules and frites' in one of the many restaurants or bars. You can even admire the views of St Malo glistening through the bay!
Go on an adventure in the magical forest, and explore the legends of King Artur and Merlin and the fountain of youth. Have lunch at the Les Forges de Paimpont restaurant with its well deserved certificate of excellence.
Spend a day or longer in the wonderful City of http://www.tourisme-rennes.com/en/home.aspx famous for its art and history. Take some time to explore its magnificent Parc du Thabor voted one of the best parks in France. Also walk around the medieval old town quarter as well as checking out some of the great shops, restaurants and bars.
