Some great ideas for using Pic Collage in the classroom!
Teachers integrate technology into the classroom curriculum by having the students use the iPad to create an "All About Me" acrostic. Students create an "All About Me" acrostic using their name. Students use the free iPad app Pic Collage to create their acrostic. Students can save, share and / or print their acrostic.
Students combine research and images to create a story collage on the iPad about Martin Luther King JR. Students research and find words or phrases related to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s important achievements. Students may use the "Words of Freedom" handout below to pre-write and list their words.
This past week we spent several days learning about 3D shapes as part of our Geometry unit math. In past years I have found that students love this unit and there are many opportunities for hands-on learning when learning about polygons, symmetry and 3D shapes.
Have students explain how they solved math problems by combining Doodle Buddy with Pic Collage.
Students use their creativity to create an "All About Me" picture collage using the iPad and the free app "Pic Collage". Students can take a pictures of each other with the iPad camera to use for this collage. Students can use various text styles, fonts, colors, images, and backgrounds to decorate their collages.
Pic Collage is a fantastic, easy to use app that even very young students could use to present a digital creation. It can the be saved to camera roll and included into a class project such as an iMovie, Book Creator, Keynote etc. Students combine research and images to create a story collage in the iPad.
Pic Collage is a FREE app and a simple way to combine text, images, and/or clip art. It comes with different backgrounds, fonts, and text colors. It also can access the photo album or google for images within the app.
