I am a Lowes Creative Ideas Blogger and each month we are issued a project challenge...should we choose to accept it! For March, we were tasked with showing off Pantone's Radiant Orchid paint by Valspar. I recently shared with you 3 Tips on Decorating with Radiant Orchid.
Perfect for any special day, a set of these tile photo coasters will cost less than $5 to make. The square tiles from your local home goods store makes this DIY a unique way to showcase your favorite Hipstamatic and Instagram snaps. All you need is some
Mother's Day is coming. Do you know what the Mother in your life wants? I have a few hints. Mothers tend to like flowers, and they most certainly really, really like photos of the children in their lives. With that information in hand I came up with a super easy idea for a Mother's Day gift.
It's freezing outside and I don't want to leave my house! I'm using this "indoor" time to get some of my crafting projects done. I'm planning on giving these necklaces for mothers day, but they would be perfect for birthdays or Valentine's day too. These are really pretty and cost less than $2.50 each!
Celebrate your mom with one or two of our thoughtful (and creative) Mother's Day photo candles. A heartfelt gift that can double as a centerpiece, these candles are even sweeter when paired with our DIY match jar. The process can also be used to make lovely gifts for a milestone birthday, Christmas, or as decor elements for a bridal or baby shower!
Update: I was recently asked if you just keep the board the same size as the picture, and the answer is yes. :) Inevitably because of the cutting there will be a tiny bit of spacing you can see which is why we painted it, as well as to make the sides uniform as you don't want them to be brown mdf.
I have the best mom ever and the pilots have the best Mummu ever! She is completely devoted to her grand babies. There's rarely a day that goes by that she doesn't see them. So for this Mother's Day I wanted to make her something extra special.
Sometimes it's hard to come up with gifts for people who have everything they could want or need, so this Mother's Day I gave the grandmas a little version of their grandson...a cute photo keychain. (Don't worry - I made one for myself, too!)
