What is a publishing schedule, and why does it matter?
Review the basic tenets of Search Engine Optimization that every blogger needs to understand.
Review the basic tenets of Social Media Marketing that every blogger needs to understand.
Review the three styles of blog posts and when it's appropriate to use each.
Explain how to categorize and link your blog content to encourage deeper dives from readers and more time on site.
Discuss the optimum length for a blog post.
Provide best practices and considerations for crafting compelling blog post titles.
Discuss the importance of using images with your blog posts, and provide best practices and tools.
What is a "call to action" and where should it be used?
Is Authorship important? And if so, how should it be implemented and leveraged?
Explain the importance of an email list, how to start one, and how to use it to grow your readership.
How to earn money from your blog.
How to repurpose content to create additional pieces of content.
Discuss whether or not bloggers should share their old content, and how.
How to identify and update old posts that will benefit your blog long-term.
Review the benefit and technique of newsjacking, and the challenges it presents.
Explain what guest blogging is and why it should be considered.
