• The subway network is modern and efficient, and handily begins at the airport. Combine it with the old trams and plentiful taxis in the city center to get around quickly.
• Tipping is discretionary, but 10% is customary when the service warrants it.
• Wear comfortable shoes. Lisbon's sidewalks, although charming, can be slippery and uneven.

One needs reservation to enjoy the evening as the place is quite small. Once you are inside, have a table... then the evening begins. One of the ladies approaches you with the menu. Don't expect a menu full of traditional Portuguese dishes, but rather list of cheese platters and canned fish... and of course several pages of local wines and port wines.
If you don't know what you prefer, the ladies will ask for your tastes, and they will give you 2-3 bottles of different wines to taste, so you can choose the type of wine you like. And so on...
We went there on our last evening in Lisbon and it was a perfect goodbye to Portugal.
Location is very good, wines are amazing and staff knows their wines. A must bar in Lisbon!

Having been to see the Belem Tower, we then went to hunt for somewhere for lunch. A bit of Google and TripAdvisor and we stumbled on this great little restaurant. Lots of other places around looked far too touristy but this place wasn't (although was predominately tourists in the place!). Great food and a great atmosphere...well worth a visit
