This recipe uses only pearlized or metallic acrylic paint. Pearl ex can be added just for a SMACK of shimmer. There are lots of recipes out there. But, this is the cheapest method by far. To make four bottles of your own DIY glimmer mist., all you need is four spritz bottles, acrylic pearlized or metallic paint, and a bit of modge podge.

This tutorial will show you how to use permanent markers and rubbing alcohol to make your own alcohol inks for your scrapbooking and craft projects. I think you will be very happy with the finished product and with the amount of money you can save making your own inks.
Make your own modeling paste for mixed media collage or art journal: 1 part white acrylic paint + 1 part talc baby powder + 1/2 part white glue/Mod Podge
Make your own Clear embossing ink - 1 tsp petroleum jelly (Vaseline), 1/8 cap full vegetable oil, 1/8 cap full rubbing alcohol, mix and apply to pad (remove excess)
Make your own acrylic spray paint by filling half the bottle with equal parts water and rubbing alcohol and the other half with acrylic paint.
Cold porcelain is an inexpensive, non-toxic, easy-to-work-with material. Despite its name it is not porcelain. It does not require heating since it gets hard by exposure to fresh air. It is a cornstarch based paste, which when dry is slightly flexible and has the appearance of real porcelain.
