Tools and Resources for Counselors

CREATE PRESENTATIONS, FLYERS, and COMMUNICATIONS USING CANVA!

Canva makes design simple for everyone. Create designs for Web or print: blog graphics, presentations, Facebook covers, flyers, posters, invitations and so much more.

TIP 1: Use a generic department email (e.g. counselors@highschool.com) to create the designs so if someone leaves you still have access to the archived designs and can continue to maintain it. OR each counselor can create the designs and then share them with other counselors for editing (if you find the designs are used multiple times).

TIP 2: Use Canva to create flyers, posters, and invitations for students and parents as well as embellishing existing PPT or Keynote slide decks.

USE SOMEECARDS to DRESS UP UPDATES to PROGRAMS or RUN-OF-THE-MILL NEWS

So when sending out updates to programs or "boring info" that impacts everyone and they should actually read... consider writing it in a Someecard email communication. It will not only give your staff a chuckle... but thy are more likely to remember the info you are trying to share too.
