It features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and packs an octa-core 1.5GHz (MediaTek MT6572M) processor with 2GB of RAM.

After unveiling at MWC, Lenovo today launched the A7000 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The registration for the first sale begins today, while the first sale will be conducted on April 15. We pit the new smartphone with other 4G budget smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka to give you a sense of who wins the battle in the specification war.

The Lenovo A7000 is a great handset to look at. It is available in black and white color variant and feels like a premium device. It might feel a bit bulky with its 8 mm thickness, but it makes the device feel robust. The device is comparable with its sibling, the A6000, that the company unveiled at the CES 2015.
