Some years back while dining at a local restaurant I spotted an "older" couple a few tables down the way. There was nothing particularly noteworthy other than the fact they did not seem to have much to talk about. Glancing surreptitiously their way during the course of the evening I don't recall catching them engaged in conversation once.

Within the past month I have experienced the sting of death several times. My dad passed away on March 7th. On March 17th Betty and I received a call that a 87 year old gentleman we had driven to church every month for the past year was near death.
As I continue to improve the technical capabilities of this website/blog, I am still learning the fine art of publication. I actually posted the first version of this post a few days ago but not all registered subscribers were notified, including me (It's good to have yourself on the list!).

On this site, you'll find resources for caregivers, consumer protection information, education, jobs, and volunteer opportunities, creating a will, contact information for federal and state agencies and resources for grandparents who raise their grandchildren.
I apologize folks, I normally am back to at least two entries on this blog per week, but in this case preparing to hit the road and helping my son had me sidetracked there. When I return, the other blog SHOULD be ready to go, who knows!!
