See below for resources to reviews, handy tips and where to purchase the best products and say goodbye to musty smells and toxic black mold.
TIP: Look at your insurance policy, you may have some cover for professional treatment.
IMPORTANT: When tackling toxic black mold (this is characterized by a dark green/black color with a slimy appearance and has a mildew/musty odour). DIY Mold and Mildew Removal - you can avoid massive bills and combat the scourge of black mold by a little careful planning and using appropriate safety gear
DIY Mold and Mildew removal at home is inexpensive, effective with the right products and very achievable, but do not attempt this without professional help if the area is contaminated with sewage from burst drains, pipes etc. Also, if your moldy area is more than around 1sq.m then don't try to remove it by yourself - this is a major problem on your hands. Ensure that all soft furnishings are gathered up and bagged carefully to avoid releasing spores. Once the clean up is done clean every surface of the room to eradicate all spores, preferably by wet wiping as the mold spores can hang around in your vacuum cleaner and re-contaminate the air.
