A holiday in Bangkok is usually considered an economical one. With cheap food and accommodation found easy many budget conscious travellers find the city to be an affordable getaway. But for those who want to splurge on a holiday then Bangkok has a set of expensive things to do as well.

You can stay at (very, very) luxury hotel resorts. The six star luxury hotel in Bangkok is considered to have the most expensive hotel suite in the city. The Royal Suite is supposedly 250,000 baht plus taxes per night. You get a private Jacuzzi, massage room, kitchen, gym and study. The suite includes two bedrooms with a complimentary mini bar. After a night here you can head to a more affordable but luxurious location such as Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas.

Rent the dome at the Lubua's sky bar

Famous for being featured in the movie Hangover II, The Dome is located on at the Lebua Sky bar that serves luxury five star cuisines. You can rent this space for half a million baht and enjoy a luxury experience for one night.

Hire a Lamborgini

You will enjoy sitting in Bangkok's heavy traffic for hours if you are on a Lamborgini. Prestige Car Rental Bangkok rents Lamborgini Performante for 50,000 baht for 24 hours. Compared to other parts of the world this price seems somewhat reasonable.

Transfer to your hotel's rooftop helipad

How cool is it to get off a helicopter at your hotel. Many hotels in Bangkok come with helipads but you rarely see helicopters land on it. The main reason it a cost. A helicopter ride from the Swarnabhumi International Airport to a city hotel will cost around 40,000 baht for one way while a taxy ride will only be around 400 baht.

Big names such as Sherbet and The Pent charges between 10,000 – 100,000 baht annually. These clubs generally do not allow non-members to enter, when they do an exorbitant amount is charged.
