Watch the sunrise at AngorWat
This should be on top of your list of Siem Reap Things to Do. You'll be amazed to see the crowd that shows up by 5.30am. Make sure you come on time to get a proper seat for a clear view. It had taken thirty years to build AngorWat in the 1100's as a home for King Suryavaeman II. The architecture and frescos on the walls depicting levels of heaven and hell are well worth a browse. There are over 1800 seductive dancing maidens carvings here so don't forget to spend sometime going through them. One thing you got to keep an eye out for is the monkeys that roam the grounds. Since they are accustomed to seeing humans here they tend to grab things out of your hands.
