Wong Tai Sin Temple

This is Taoist temple established in 1921 and is considered as one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. Named after Wong Chuping who achieved enlightenment and became immortal after which he was referred to as Wong Tai Sin. His influence spread across the country in the early 20th century and he was considered to have the ability to heal wounds, rescue the dying as well as punish those who do evil. The Wong Tai Sin temple is renowned for its accurate fortune telling.
